Hi! I picked up your blog from the nice posting in the
Town Dock News. Your boat is great. I am building a wood-epoxy boat up in Chapel Hill, North Carolina and planning a trip like yours in several years. I will be following your adventures with interest. I really like hearing the details about sailing.

Hello Kylie and Mike, Just wanted to tell you how nice it is to read your blog. My parents have a house in Oriental and I periodically check out Towndock.net and saw your story. thanks for the memories as I follow your story and it reminded me of a summer many moons ago sailing with my Dad up to Annaplis and Baltimore from Oriental. Maybe my wife and I can Live the Dream one day . . Maybe when the kids go off to college! Best wishes to you and keep up the great Blog!

Ahoy Meggie! I just picked up your quest in the Wooden Boat forum talking of the Oriental article; congratulations, you have a great site, and you did one hell of a job on Meggie. I always thought my B30 was in good shape, but it is nothing to match your work...wow
We will continue to follow your travels with envy.

Hi Kylie and Mike!
Good to hear you got out of Deltaville without needing a "tug". Shame on you for "enjoying" watching the other boats bump!(however, we know EXACTLY what you mean...) We are in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Had a nice run south so far with a couple of nice outside jumps that helped get us down here quickly.
Hurry up and catch up - we miss you guys!
Very nice writeup on Meggie. Made us proud to know you!
See you somewhere,
Your Guardian angels.

Hi guys
Sitting at WORK!!! and thought I would check your progress but I don't have your address in my computer here, so I "googled" Kylie and Mike and the first hit that came back was the Town Dock News. You're famous now.
Anyway hope all is well. Please give us an update on Gerry and Wendy's progress and plans next time you write so we can update other TYC members. What's likely to be in your plans for January / February time? We are thinking of a trip south and wanted to see if our itineraries might cross. Be safe, have fun.

Hi guys,
We've been reading your site regularly and are hoping to meet up with you eventually! We're the family you met in St. Catharines, Ont that were going to leave on a 30ft yawl with 2 kids and 2 dogs. We just met Acapella and they saw you in Oriental, NC.
Email if you like and let us know where you are- we have just arrived in Fernandina Beach, Florida.

Hi, I found y'all from Town Dock, too, and enjoyed sailing along with you from Annapolis to Oriental through your blog! I'm a fair weather sailor, a 20 knot girl, but sure am loving reading about your adventures! Looking forward to more when I have a few more minutes to read. Congratulations on laying aside "The American Dream" for your own!
Jen.
